The CUHK Jockey Club Multi-Cancer Prevention Programme providing free colorectal, breast and prostate cancer screening service

The recruitment of the CUHK Jockey Club Multi-Cancer Prevention Programme has been launched.  Eligible 40 – 75 years old subjects will be provided with 2 cancer screening on a free-of-charge basis (Males: colorectal and prostate cancer screening; Females: colorectal and breast cancer screening).  Screening methods are as below:

Colorectal cancer: Faecal immunochemical test will be given.  Colonoscopy will be provided as follow up when needed.

Prostate cancer: Prostate surface antigen test will be given.  Follow up will be provided when needed.

Breast cancer: Mammogram will be given and follow up will be provided when needed.

Besides the above cancer screening tests, our programme will also provide blood taking in order to study the relation between cancers and metabolic syndrome.

Furthermore, our programme will also provide exercise classes and diet suggestions by dietitian to control body weight.
